DAY TICKET –
Day Tickets permits entry for 1 adult or 1 concession (over 60 years) or 1 child (5 – 15 years) as applicable on your chosen day. Children under 5 years are admitted to the Festival free of charge.
FAMILY DAY TICKET –
Family Day Ticket permits entry for 2 adults and up to 3 children (5 – 15 years) on your chosen day. Children under 5 years are admitted to the Festival free of charge.
WEEKEND TICKET –
Weekend Ticket permits entry for 1 adult or 1 concession (over 60 years) or 1 child (5 – 15 years) as applicable on both Saturday and Sunday. Children under 5 years are admitted to the Festival free of charge.
FAMILY WEEKEND TICKET –
Family Weekend Ticket permits entry for 2 adults and up to 3 children (5 – 15 years) on both Saturday and Sunday. Children under 5 years are admitted to the Festival free of charge.
SATURDAY NIGHT GIG AT THE GREEN (DE KINKELS) TICKET –
De Kinkels Gig at the Wally Green, Saturday 30th June from 9.00pm – 1.00am. Over 18s only, ID required.
Dutch band De Kinkels will once again rock the stage with a selection of popular song covers and anthems.
This is strictly an Over 18s event. ID will be required. Licensed bar. Due to limited capacity within the venue and given the popularity of De Kinkels, which resulted in sell out gigs in 2015, 2016 & 2017 a limited number of tickets will be available online prior to the event. Additional tickets will be available at The Ticket & Information Office. No concession or discounted tickets are available for this event. Refunds cannot be issued for unused, lost or stolen tickets.
FRIDAY NIGHT GIG AT THE GREEN (DOUGIE MACLEAN, SUPPORTED BY ELSA JEAN MCTAGGART) TICKET –
Dougie Maclean, supported by Elsa Jean McTaggart, Gig at the Wally Green, Friday 29th June from 8.00pm – 11.00pm. Followed by open music session in Marquee Bar. All ages welcome. All tickets £20, no concessions.
DOUGIE MACLEAN IN CONCERT
“Dougie MacLean is Scotland’s pre-eminent singer-songwriter and a national musical treasure” (SingOut USA) who has developed a unique blend of lyrical, ‘roots based’ songwriting and instrumental composition. He is internationally renowned for his song ‘Caledonia’, music for ‘Last of the Mohicans’ and inspired performances. His songs have been covered by Paolo Nutini, Amy MacDonald, Ronan Keating, Mary Black, Frankie Miller, Cara Dillon, Kathy Mattea and many other top performers. He has received two prestigious Tartan Clef Awards, a place in the Scottish Music Hall of Fame, a Lifetime Achievement Award from BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards and an OBE!
ELSA JEAN MCTAGGART
Scottish fiddler singer/song writer Elsa Jean McTaggart is a self- taught musician; an accomplished vocalist, fiddler and guitarist, who also plays the penny whistle and button box. Her inspiration comes from the people she meets and life lessons learned. Ten years in Ireland provided exposure to an endless supply of talented musicians in the folk and traditional music scene. She has a distinctive sound and style, which has been tuned to a fine art over the years of performing in a wide variety of venues and musical genres.
IMPORTANT NOTES FOR ENTRY:
Tickets purchased online will not be issued by post. Please print your e-ticket and bring along to the event for exchange. E-tickets can also been shown on your mobile device. Proof of purchase MUST be provided for entry – no ticket, no entry.
Tickets purchased online for Friday or Saturday night’s Gig at The Green will NOT be accepted at the door on the night. Wristbands MUST be collected in advance from the Ticket & Information Office, Seafield Street, Portsoy before 5pm on Friday or Saturday. Proof of purchase is required.
Wristbands MUST worn for entry – strictly no wristband, no entry.
No Gig at the Green Tickets will be on sale at the door.
GIG AT THE GREEN DE KINKELS, SATURDAY NIGHT :
Is a strictly over 18s event. ID will be required.
Children under 5 years of age are admitted to the Festival free of charge. Children’s tickets are classed for persons aged 5 – 15 years.
All persons aged 60 years and over qualify for Concession rate tickets.
CAR PARKING & SHUTTLE BUS:
Car parking will be available at Portsoy Playing Fields on Seafield Terrace, £3 per car, which includes a return shuttle bus service to/from Festival gate and souvenir Festival programme. Festival Park and Ride service will operate from Portsoy Playing Field Car Park to Festival Gate from 9am – 5pm on both Saturday and Sunday. Festival starts at 9am.
For public security, random bag searches may be carried out at the Festival and associated music events by the security team and organisers. Any bags left unattended should be reported to a Festival steward or member of the security team.
Refunds cannot be issued for unused, lost or stolen tickets.
